One Man Machine May-June east coast tour

Ok, I know this is a little late, but I just got around to getting the film developed. Bernard was here in NYC in late May early June and played a bunch of shows. He also played in Philly, which is where some of these photos are from. He brought a friend of his from New Orleans, Micronaut, with him. For anyone who doesn't know him, Bernard was an owner of Metropolis, the Pussycat, and the Rinky Dink in Lafayette, and later moved to New Orleans, where he started his latest music project, One Man Machine. You can hear his stuff here. He uses a loop station and records tracks to make songs, some of which are completely improvised live. He, Tracy, Miles, and Parker are currently safe in Lafayette, although their home in New Orleans is destroyed. He was staying at the Blue Moon, but is probably at his Mom's house in Parks by now, so Lafayette folks look him up. When he played at Sputnik in Brooklyn, by the end of his second song he had everybody at the bar and backstage chanting "I don't give a fuuuuuuuck...." It was pretty cool.

One Man Machine playing live in Philly with Schickenbutt. Really this kind of violates the "One Man" part of the name.

One Man Machine live in Philly. The drink wasn't really as large as it appears.
